We have 2 locations to serve you better.

Our Burlington ReStore is located at 1176 N. Church Street, 336-222-8292.

Our Mebane ReStore is located at 1288 South Fifth Street, Mebane, 919-568-9385.

Why Donate?

Habitat for Humanity of Alamance County is committed to building affordable housing in partnership with local families. Our ReStore directly funds that effort, with profits from ReStore sales going to the continuing efforts to build simple, affordable, energy-efficient houses in Alamance County. By donating your appliances that are in good, working order, you will directly contribute to the health and well-being of the community and families in need. And, it’s an environmentally responsible way to get rid of any unused, unwanted, or old household appliances you may have that still work – keeping your home, and our world, cleaner.

Benefits of Donating

All donations to the Habitat ReStore are tax-deductible so when you donate, we will provide you with a receipt that you can save for tax season. Enjoy the rewards of your generosity and be confident that your donation is helping your community.

What To Donate

The ReStore accepts both new and used household appliances in good, working order such as microwaves, washers and dryers, ranges, and refrigerators. For a full list of accepted items, see our donation criteria. If you don’t see your item on the list, call us to find out if we can accept it.

How To Donate

To donate your items, simply bring them to the ReStore of your choice during store hours. While at the ReStore, check out our inventory and get some ideas for your next DIY or decorating project – or visit our ReStore Blog for inspiration. If your appliances are bulky or too large for you to transport in your car, call the store of your choice to schedule a pick-up.

Donating your extra and used household appliances lets you directly impact Habitat’s affordable housing efforts in the community. Learn more about how you can help our cause.
